ASA-LV moving its meeting time and location!
Regular meetings will be the 2ndWednesday at ARCH
7-9 p.m.
Next meeting: October 14, 2009
Meet the Legislators
Various legislators have been invited to this meeting, and will serve on a panel to discuss topics regarding special needs in their respective houses. (The roster will be announced later via the newsgroup and attendance will depend on legislative sessions.) We hope to have childcare available for free or a nominal fee, but parents must register in advance and remain on site. To register for childcare, please call 610-778-9212.
Other suggested speakers include a chiropractor, a financial planner, a special needs lawyer, and others. Details will be shared via the newsletter and newsgroup. Plan for this time and place every month for future meetings.

In addition to the monthly meetings, the ASA-LV offers a teen activity group, an asperger’s support group, and several outings and parties for children and their families. There is also a new parent support group for families with older individuals with asperger’s. Please feel free to attend meetings and activities that interest you and are appropriate age and ability wise for your children.
Our expansion over the last few years has been a result of parents seeing a need and their willingness to step up and help satisfy it. If you are interested in setting up another aspect of support under the ASA-LV umbrella, please talk to a board member about it and we will see what we can do!
